I've had a sauna nearly every day for the past 5 years. From muscular recovery to health benefits to leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed - saunas are fantastic.

However, I saw the same issue repeat itself in every sauna I visited:

Nobody had a good way of staying hydrated and refreshed in the sauna. You sweat and lose a lot of water in the sauna requiring significant water consumption to rehydrate.

I watched people either:

a. Bring single-use plastic bottles into the sauna which don't insulate the water and may release harmful plastic particles into the water as they deform in the heat. Result = Warm, 'plasticky' water.

b. Bring metal bottles into the sauna and struggle picking it up due to the scalding hot temperature of the metal after being exposed to the heat. Result = Scalded Hands and not wanting to pick up the bottle

c. Don't bring any water in at all and rely on the tiny cups of water from the water cooler in an attempt to rehydrate. Result = Not enough water intake to compensate for the sauna session, possible dehydration.
